How to read this
Written by the engineering team, and every claim below is limited to what has actually been checked. No third party has audited this product for accessibility, and the shelf-wide legal review does not cover it either. Last checked September 13, 2026. Where we cannot yet make a commitment, the document says so, dates it, and names what would close it. We would rather you found the gap here than found it yourself.
What would change that: An audit by somebody who does this for a living, and a test with people who use assistive technology every day. Until then, the section below is the whole of what we know rather than the whole of what is true.
What changed in this version: The statement now says only what has been measured, with the date. Version 1.0 listed what we build to as if each line had been checked on every page, and most had not.
A printed copy carries this version and its date, and leaves the navigation behind.
What we aim for
We aim at WCAG 2.2 level AA on every page a person uses. That is a target we design and build against, not a certification we hold. Nobody has audited this product against it, and we will not imply otherwise.
We design every page to work from the keyboard alone, to read well with a screen reader, to fit a phone or a zoomed window, never to carry a meaning by colour alone, and to keep still unless something is really happening. There is a Calm setting that turns off motion, and a light theme called Dawn. The next section says which of these aims we have measured. The rest are aims until we have.
What we have actually measured
The front door, on 30 September 2026, in a real browser at a desktop and a phone width, in both themes: every button and link is at least 44 pixels tall, and every line of text on the sky meets AA contrast at its worst point. The first run found the footer links, the wordmark and three pairs in the light theme short of that. They were fixed and measured again the same day.
Not measured yet, as of 16 October 2026: an automated WCAG 2.2 AA check of every page, and a keyboard and screen-reader pass by a person on each journey. Both are being built now, and their results will be published here with their date. If you use this product with assistive technology, telling us what breaks is worth more to us than any checklist.

Write to us and say what you were trying to do and what stopped you. We answer within 10 working days, and an accessibility problem is treated as a defect rather than a request. If you need something in a different format in order to use the service, ask — that includes anything on the legal shelf.
